Santiago

Santiago

Notes

  • A note about the $ sign. Chile does not have a currency symbol. So they use the $ sign liberally to denote Chilean peso. If you see a $ sign, it’s safe to assume it is not US Dollar but Chilean peso. When they actually mean US Dollar, they write it as U$S or U$D.
  • Santiago is one of the best airport ever in terms of customs and immigration. Done and done in 10 minutes flat. No kidding.
  • SCL Santiago airport to hotel door transfer 12 USD. You can actually pay in USD.
  • Providencia to SCL Santiago airport taxi 16000 peso ($35). Takes 25 minutes.
  • To-Do for next time

  • Revolving restaurant – Giratorio Restaurant (Av 11 de Septiembre 2250, Santiago, Chile)
  • Torre Entel tower observation deck
